Asheville; Beer, Pretzels and More

If you’re looking for a unique and exciting destination to explore, look no further than Asheville, North Carolina. Known for its world-class craft beer, farm-to-table dining, and eclectic culture, this city is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food, good drinks, and good vibes.

On our adventure through Asheville and surrounding areas we were overwhelmed with good food, endless beer options and beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In this area you’ll see a good list of places we tried and a few of our favorite things to do outside of riding bikes.

Carbs all over.

Pretzels were our jam when drinking in Asheville. Everywhere we went pretty much had one. Some of our favorites were at Wicked Weed, Sierra Nevada, Bier Garden, Hilman, and Green Man. The cheese at Sierra Nevada was the best hands down, but best pretzel has to go to Wicked Weeds, while Hilman is second in my opinion.

Fahrenheit Pizza and Brew was top notch as well. Really the best foods here were mostly carb based so if you love carbs like we do this place won’t disappoint. Joeys New York bagel was also a great place to stop on our way to some of the bike trails.

Some other non-carb related foods will be listed below. My friend took us to all the best spots that we had time for. There is such a good food and beer scene its hard to tackle in a week. Going forward this has given us some good intel on what we are looking for in a new place to live.
