Bentonville Arkansas Extras

Things to do in Bentonville Arkansas. Here you will find a wide variety of things to do or places to eat and other information that isn’t bike related (except maybe for the bike shops listed at the bottom). Check it out! They have some really good food, drinks, and places to go here.

A few of our favorite drinks:

Museums and Art

Lots of art here and places to go for the days you don’t wanna spend on the bike.

Crystal Bidges Art Museum

Crystal Bridges – Admission is free, amazing building and fun and weird art here. Coffee, and lunch is available onsite as well. They are closed on Tuesdays. You could spend hours here if you like art.

The Walmart Museum

The Walmart Museum – Admission is free! It is in a new building in town while the old one gets remodeled. About 15-30 minute adventure.

Food, Food, and More Beer..?

Lots of great choices for food in Bentonville. Listed below are all the places we liked and had a good experience with. Most of the town is pretty walkable and easy access. I would personally park on the outskirts or just bike into town. It’s busy with traffic and one lane in and out. The locals here are out and about enjoying everything just like we were which was fun. Most everything was open Sundays but places would take Monday or Tuesday off it seemed so keep that in mind.

Extras

Just south of Bentonville is Fayetteville about 30 minutes away. If you plan on visiting this area you will most likely fly into here and make your way north. We unfortunately didn’t have enough time to make it down to this area but there were a few places we wanted to check out. Mt Kessler looks to have some really fun biking and of course the University of Arkansas is here, so you can get your college football fix in the fall. There looks to be plenty more options for art, music, food and more in this area of Northwest Arkansas.

If you are needing bike rentals or service I would recommend stopping in at Phat Tire Bike Shop or heading down the street to Bentonville Bicycle Company. Both shops were really friendly and offered a pretty good selections of gear, and bikes.
